At the end of June EARWORM will be bringing a brimming-full-of-noise EIGHT ACT show that is sure to be an unforgettable non-stop blast of an event.

Kleistwahr:
Kleistwahr is the solo project of Gary Mundy from Ramleh and Broken Flag records. He also plays guitar with Breathless. The project initially operated from 1982 until 1987 but was revived in 2009. There have been 14 Kleistwahr albums to date. The 15th is out soon on Fourth Dimension records entitled "For the Lives Once Lived". All 1980s Kleistwahr was recently reissued on CD as "Don't Let Go".

Alice Kemp:
aLICE kEMP (b.1972, UK) explores an idiosyncratic praxis involving experimental music, audio composition, public/private performance, installation, drawing, writing, lo-fi video, and object making. Her work is informed by subtle states of trance, dream, and disturbance. She has presented live art internationally, and released audio/musical works through independent labels such as Fragment Factory (DE), Harbinger Sound (UK), Erratum (FR), Tochnit Aleph (DK), the Helen Scarsdale Agency (USA), Dead Mind records (NL), and Coherent States (GR). Kemp is a Schimpfluch affiliate and a human ex-voto, living and working in Devon, England.

Jim Haynes:
On a brief stint of shows from the US - Jim is the founder of The Helen Scarsdale Agency, founded in 2003 and dedicated to a particular thread of post-industrial research, surrealist collage, refined minimalism, caustic electro-acoustics, sublimated dream-pop, obfuscated field recordings, recombinant noise, existential vacancy, and then some.

Mlehst:
abstract noise perversions since 1991…….
who needs answers when you can have more questions?

Distraxi:
Dark industrial soundscapes/pain electronics from Bath. One of the most exciting artists in the South West of this galaxy, forcing an emotive and provokative performance into you through a sieve. Immediate, painstaking and at some times melancholy.

Pale World:
Pale World is the Alias of Joe Parkes, mainstay of the UK noise scene with powerful releases on labels Outsider Art, Trust Collective, Abhorrent AD, Ceremonial Laptop and more..

His work evokes a certain nostalgia, drawing comparison to familiar artists from the early aughts (Oscillating Innards, Impregnable, Pedestrian Deposit. etc) due to it’s heavy use of lush ambient intros and outros that frame the more prominent assault of dense, fast, dynamic Harsh Noise.

Shearman:
NOISE BEING of Leytonstone emerges from the gutter to bring the usual ill tidings.

Jon Ruddick:
(tsta) Sound artist, arts facilitator, curator & technician based in Cardiff, Wales, and is a director of the SHIFT art space, a member of the South Wales improvisors, WEMA (Welsh Experimental Music Alliance), Thrummm with Sound artist Leona Jones & Slow/Archive with Slow Murder.

"Sound plays a crucial role in shaping our interactions and perceptions of the world, and my practice revolves around exploring the dynamics of these relationships. I am fascinated by how sound can create connections, define spaces, and facilitate both immersion and detachment. Through my practice, I aim to capture and convey the intricate ways in which sound influences our experiences and interactions with others and our environments."
